Kamran Rao is the Founder and CEO of Cinemato Production, a creative powerhouse he has successfully led for over seven years. As a producer, writer, and filmmaker, Kamran has built a reputation for bringing bold, engaging, and high-quality stories to Pakistani screens.
He has served as the Executive Producer for acclaimed films such as Once Upon a Time in Karachi and Sheenogai, both of which highlight his vision for cinematic storytelling. Recently, Kamran produced the popular web series Udhar Zindagi, a romcom that captured audiences with its fresh humor and relatable characters.
Currently, he is working on exciting new projects, including the mini-drama serial “Chirya Ghar” and the upcoming web series “3 Langoor” and “Crash Landing”, continuing his mission to produce innovative and entertaining content for Pakistani viewers.
Under his leadership, Cinemato Production has also partnered with the National Incubation Center Karachi, a collaboration aimed at using technology and creative innovation to streamline Pakistan’s showbiz industry. Kamran remains deeply committed to nurturing young and emerging talent, creating opportunities for the next generation of filmmakers, actors, and storytellers.
