Daniel Craig confirms return as James Bond

Daniel Craig confirmed that he will be returning as James Bond for one more big screen mission. “We’ve been discussing it, we’ve just been trying to figure things out,” he revealed before admitting that he always just needed a break.

In 2015, as he promoted that last Bond film Spectre, Craig shocked his fan by suggesting that he would rather kill himself than appear in another 007 movie,  a franchise that has been running from six decades. Craig is the sixth actor to step into the role. Keen to ‘move on’ from the franchise, Craig also said at the time if he were to do another Bond film it would ‘only be for the money’. However, it seems the break – and the constant betting over who may replace Craig – have been enough and he’s been wooed back to play Bond on more time.

“I just want to go out on a high note, and I can’t wait,” he added.

Daniel Wroughton Craig is an English actor. He trained at the National Youth Theatre and graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 1991, before beginning his career on stage. His film debut was in the drama The Power of One.
